Sharepoint/Groove

Has anyone tried utilzing a combination of Sharepoint and Groove for project team collaboration?
Also has anyone ever tied a collaboration tool into a larger, serachable asset management/KM tool?

    I have used Groove and it was a great product. Unfortunately, the project I was using it with expired so I have not used it since Microsoft bought them out. I would be interested in hearing how the two products work with each other and how things change now that Groove is part of Microsoft.
